All positions pictured for the
blues scales are being
played at the first fret. The root note
illustrated at the left and indicated in Red is
A# (sharp). Move the same position up each fret of the neck.
Start on the low E string and then repeat the scale starting on the high E
string. The root note will change as you move the scale up the neck. See Position I for a description of the
scale grid. Listen to the sound file below. It is
saved in a MIDI format for quick
downloading and is only 400 to 550 bytes.
