Blues Pentatonic Scale: Position IV

Blues Pentatonic Scale Position IV Gif All positions pictured for the blues scales are being played at the first fret. The root note illustrated at the left and indicated in Red is A# (sharp). Move the same position up each fret of the neck. Start on the low E string and then repeat the scale starting on the high E string. The root note will change as you move the scale up the neck. See Position I for a description of the scale grid. Listen to the sound file below. It is saved in a MIDI format for quick downloading and is only 400 to 550 bytes.
